About Us
Brothers, neighbors, and your lighting crew
Coastal Clarity Lighting is family-owned and based right here in La Jolla.
Our Story
We don't just hang lights, we make it magic
Coastal Clarity started as a family business helping San Diego homeowners keep their homes looking their best. Lighting was a natural next step, the same neighbors who trusted us on their windows and rooflines kept asking who they should call for their holiday lights.
So brothers Chris & David Kunz built a lighting company the way they’d want one for their own family: real design walk-throughs, commercial-grade materials, a crew that shows up on time, and a promise that you never touch a ladder.
Whether it’s a full holiday display, a permanent system you control from your phone, or lighting for the biggest night of your life, we treat your home like it’s our own, and we’re right down the street if you ever need us.
The Coastal Clarity Promise
Why homeowners hand us the ladder
You See It Before You Buy It
Send a photo and we send back your own house with the lights on. Change the color, add a tree, walk away. Nothing is due until you like it.
Because The Lights Are Ours, They're Our Problem
You never buy, untangle, replace, or store a single strand. The 48-Hour Relight: one bulb out, one text, we're there within 48 hours. No charge, all season.
Family-Owned & Local
Brothers Chris & David Kunz, based in La Jolla. The same crew that shows up is the one you'll call next year.
