Christmas Lights at Estate Scale
Christmas light installation in Rancho Santa Fe is a different job than a tract roofline. Runs are longer, trees are older, and the house often sits a few hundred feet back behind a gate. A display that looks great from the front door can read as almost nothing from the road.
So we design for the approach. Wrapped trunks down the drive, a clean roofline on the main house, lit entry columns, and the guest house handled to match. The property should look composed from the gate all the way in.

Art Jury and HOA Rules, Handled Up Front
Out here the approval matters as much as the design. We ask about your association's lighting guidelines at the consult, build the plan to fit them, and put the layout in writing if the Art Jury or your HOA wants something submitted.
Our default look already lands close to where most Covenant homes want to be. Warm white, nothing strobing, no cord runs stapled across stone, and takedown on the calendar the association expects. If your street is stricter than that, tell us and we design to it.
Long Driveways and Trees Worth Wrapping
On most Rancho Santa Fe properties the best money goes into the trees, not the roof. One mature oak wrapped to the second branch does more for the drive up than another 80 feet of fascia ever will.
Wrapping is slow work. A big canopy can take the crew most of a morning. We price trees individually, we tell you which ones are worth it, and we tell you which ones are not.
A Coastal Crew That Works Inland
People assume salt stops mattering once you are this far back from the water. The marine layer still rolls in most mornings, and everything we hang sits out in it for eight straight weeks.
So the parts are the same ones we use on the sand. Commercial-grade LEDs, weather-sealed sockets, UV-stable wire, clips cut to your fascia. We own the lights, we store them, and anything that fails mid-season gets replaced at no cost to you.
September Pricing, and Why Year 2 Costs Less
Book your holiday install by September 30 for 15% off. October is 10%. After that the November and December calendars usually sell out, and estate jobs need more crew days than a standard roofline, so they fill earliest.
Year 2 and Year 3 run 10% below your Year 1 price. The design work and the custom cutting happen once, and we hand that saving back. Jobs start at $800. Call or text (858) 315-1247.

- Yes, and we would rather do it before install day than after. Send us your association's lighting guidelines and we will design inside them, then hand you a written layout to submit.
- Coastal Clarity is fully insured and carries a City of San Diego business license. Seasonal holiday lighting is not contractor-license work, but if your association wants a certificate of insurance on file, ask and we will send it over.
- We can. Trunk wrapping and canopy work on mature oaks, olives, and sycamores is some of our favorite work out here. It is labor-heavy, so we quote trees one at a time and tell you honestly which ones pay off.
- All of them, plus The Bridges and Del Rayo. Whatever access takes, a gate code, a guard list, a scheduled window, send it with the booking and the crew shows up with it in hand.
- Yes, $800. Most Rancho Santa Fe properties land well above that once the drive and the trees are in the plan, but the number is published so you know exactly where we start.
