No. Commercial-grade LEDs, clips, and timers are all included in the service price. We own the materials, store them for you year over year, and replace any that fail.

How much does Christmas light installation cost?

Roofline C9 lighting runs $8 a linear foot on the first story and $10 on the second, icicle lighting is $10 per foot, and tree wrapping starts at $105 per palm. A single-story roofline alone typically lands between $800 and $1,600, most whole jobs come out at $1,200 to $2,400 once you add a tree or some garland, and a full front-of-home display runs $3,000 to $4,500. Will the install damage my roof?

No. We use clips sized to your roofline and gutters, never staples, never tape, and never holes. Every strand is custom-cut so nothing gets stretched or forced, and we treat your roof the same way we'd treat our own.

Do you work with HOAs?

Yes, regularly. We install throughout Rancho Santa Fe, Carmel Valley, Coronado, and other communities with covenants and design review, and we'll match approved colors, timing windows, and takedown deadlines. Tell us your HOA's rules up front and we'll design inside them.

Fully insured, with a City of San Diego business license, and we're happy to send a certificate of insurance before we set foot on your property. Our crew is covered while they work, so an accident is our problem and never yours.

What's included in the takedown?

Everything. After the holidays, we return on your scheduled takedown date, carefully remove every strand and clip, inspect each bulb, and store the lights off-site until next year.

What if a light burns out mid-season?

Call or text us and we'll be out within 48 hours to repair or replace any section that isn't working. We call it The 48-Hour Relight, it costs nothing, and it runs all season. The lights are ours, so a dead bulb is our problem rather than yours.

What happens if it rains?

Rain shouldn't take a display down. We keep every plug junction up off the ground, wrap it, and run a drip loop so water runs away from the plug, and power comes off a GFCI outlet. If a section does go out after a storm, text us. The 48-Hour Relight covers it.

Can you match a specific color scheme?

Yes. White, warm white, multi-color, red/green, blue/white, whatever fits your home's style. We'll bring color samples to your design walk-through.

Is there a minimum project size?

Yes. Our minimum is $800, which is roughly 100 feet of roofline. That covers the design, the mock-up, custom-cut lights, install, in-season repairs, January takedown, and storage. Short rooflines are quick for us, so we keep the entry point low on purpose.

Install

Service & maintain
The 48-Hour Relight: one bulb out, one text, we're there within 48 hours. No charge, all season. The lights are ours, so a dead bulb is our problem rather than yours.
Takedown & storage
When the season ends, we pull everything down, store it labeled for your home, and bring it back ready to install next year.

A handyman

Who owns the lights: You do. You buy the strands, and they go back in your garage in January.
Cut to the roofline: Store lengths, so a run can come up short or double back at a corner.
Timer: Only if you buy one and ask to have it wired in.
In-season repairs: A second visit at the hourly rate, when their calendar has room in December.
Takedown and storage: Takedown is a second booking and often not included. Storage is your garage.
When a strand fails: You buy the replacement and book another visit.
Price: By the hour, plus the lights you bought. Published national guides put a typical install near $444, with most jobs between $219 and $686.

Do it yourself

Who owns the lights: You do. The strands, the clips, the cords, and the bin they live in.
Cut to the roofline: Whatever lengths the store sells.
Timer: Yours to buy and set.
In-season repairs: You, back up the ladder, in December.
Takedown and storage: A January weekend on the ladder, then shelf space in the garage.
When a strand fails: Find the dead section, buy a new strand, and hope it matches the rest.
Price: The strands and the clips up front, a ladder weekend in November and another in January, and new strands every few years as the sun and the salt air wear them out.
