Most companies ask you to picture it. We show you.

Send us a photo of your home, or we walk the property with you. Either way you get a real mock-up of your own house with the lights on, the garland hung, and the trees wrapped, before you commit to a single dollar.

    Text us a picture of your house, or we walk the property with you. Same design either way, and plenty of people never need the house call.

    You see your house with the lights on

    A real mock-up of your home, plus the price, usually back the same day. Change the color, add a tree, drop the garland. Nothing is due.

  3. 03

    10% holds your install date

    About $200 on a typical $2,000 job, and it comes off your total. We text you the link and it takes thirty seconds. The deposit is what locks your spot on the calendar, so it isn't refundable once your date is held.

    We install, service, take down, and store it

    January takedown, free off-season storage, and in-season repairs on us. The 48-Hour Relight: one bulb out, one text, we're there within 48 hours. No charge, all season. You never buy or store a single strand.

Every job has a $800 minimum, which is roughly 100 feet of roofline. Every install includes the Design Preview, custom fabrication, installation, in-season service, takedown, and off-season storage.

Most homes land in the $1,200 to $2,400 range all-in, and a short single-story roofline can start at $800. Installs booked by October 31 are 10% off. Booking now locks in both your price and your install date, and November and December usually sell out.

Three legitimate ways to get lights on a house. Here is what each one includes, so you can compare the whole thing and not just the per-foot number.

Everything below is in the price

Who owns the lights
We do. The bulbs, the clips, and the timer are in the price, and nothing ends up in bins in your garage.
Cut to the roofline
Every strand is custom-cut to your roofline, so there is no bunched excess at the corners and no dark gap where a run came up short.
Timer
A smart timer is included, so the lights come on at dusk by themselves, every night.
In-season repairs
The 48-Hour Relight: one bulb out, one text, we're there within 48 hours. No charge, all season.
Takedown and storage
January takedown and free off-season storage, labeled to your address.
When a strand fails
You text us. The lights are ours, so we replace it at no charge, and a dead strand is our problem rather than yours.
Price
Roofline C9 is $8 a linear foot on the first story and $10 on the second, with an $800 minimum. Most homes land at $1,200 to $2,400 all-in, and everything above is included.

A handyman

Who owns the lights
You do. You buy the strands, and they go back in your garage in January.
Cut to the roofline
Store lengths, so a run can come up short or double back at a corner.
Timer
Only if you buy one and ask to have it wired in.
In-season repairs
A second visit at the hourly rate, when their calendar has room in December.
Takedown and storage
Takedown is a second booking and often not included. Storage is your garage.
When a strand fails
You buy the replacement and book another visit.
Price
By the hour, plus the lights you bought. Published national guides put a typical install near $444, with most jobs between $219 and $686.

Do it yourself

Who owns the lights
You do. The strands, the clips, the cords, and the bin they live in.
Cut to the roofline
Whatever lengths the store sells.
Timer
Yours to buy and set.
In-season repairs
You, back up the ladder, in December.
Takedown and storage
A January weekend on the ladder, then shelf space in the garage.
When a strand fails
Find the dead section, buy a new strand, and hope it matches the rest.
Price
The strands and the clips up front, a ladder weekend in November and another in January, and new strands every few years as the sun and the salt air wear them out.

Plenty of people should pick the second or third column. If yours is the first, send one photo and see your own house with the lights on before you decide anything.

See Your Home Lit Up

Year Over Year

Year one is the big one. It gets cheaper after that.

Year one covers custom design and fabrication. We measure your home, cut every strand to fit it exactly, and build a display that belongs to that house and no other. That work is done once.

After year one, the heavy lifting is behind you. We store the display, maintain it, and repair it in the off-season, then bring it back ready to hang. That's why year two and year three cost less than year one.

  • Year 2: 10% off your Year 1 price
  • Year 3: 10% off your Year 1 price
  • Stored, maintained, and repaired by us between seasons

A 10% deposit holds your spot on the install calendar. We text or email it to you once you approve the design, and your date is locked as soon as it comes through. Want to spread the rest out? Monthly payments start at $149/month on a three-year agreement.
