From Leucadia Bungalows to Olivenhain Ranches
Encinitas covers more kinds of house than any other city we serve. Christmas light installation in Encinitas might mean a 1,100 square foot Leucadia bungalow with a low roof and a surfboard in the side yard, or a two-acre Olivenhain property with a barn, a long fence line, and eucalyptus older than the street.
We quote them differently because they are different jobs. Small homes get a tight, well-proportioned display that does not overwhelm the house. Ranch properties get the fence, the entry, and the trees, because that is where the drama actually lives.

We fold Cardiff-by-the-Sea into our Encinitas route rather than treating it as a separate territory. Same crew, same install week, same pricing. If you are on the Composer Streets or up behind the seaside market, you are already on the list.
Surf Town Air Is Still Salt Air
Sitting a few blocks off the 101 does not spare a light strand. Marine fog rolls in overnight, sits on the roof until mid-morning, and works its way into every socket that was not sealed properly. That is how a display looks perfect on December 1 and patchy by the 20th.
Everything we hang is commercial grade and weather-sealed, and the clips are cut to your fascia so nothing sags in a Santa Ana. If a run does go out, we come fix it. Repairs during the season are included.
Year-Round Lighting and Event Strings
Permanent lighting is popular on the ranch properties out in Olivenhain, where running an extension cord to the far fence gets old fast. One install, hidden channel under the fascia, every holiday from an app.
For weddings and backyard events we bring bistro strings, uplighting, and path lights, set up beforehand and pulled the next day. Plenty of Encinitas yards were built for exactly that.
September Beats October, and October Beats Waiting
Holiday installs booked by September 30 take 15% off. October takes 10%. November and December usually sell out, and the north county route fills fast because the drive time limits how many homes we can hit in a day.

- Yes, both, along with Olivenhain and the downtown 101 corridor. North county homes get grouped onto the same install days, so there is no travel surcharge for being at the top of our range.
- We can. Fence runs, split rail, arbors, and barn rooflines are all fair game. Long runs need power planned properly, so we map the outlets at the consult and flag it in the quote if a run needs its own circuit.
- Yes. Second stories, detached garages, guest studios, and barns all get the same clip-mounted treatment. Coastal Clarity is fully insured and carries a City of San Diego business license.
- Text or call us and we schedule a repair visit. In-season service is included in every package, because we own the lights and we would rather fix them than have a dark gable on your street.
- Jobs start at $800 and scale with roofline length, story count, trees, and fence runs. You get one fixed price after we walk the property, and Years 2 and 3 come in 10% under Year 1.
