Holiday Lights That Fit a La Jolla Roofline
Christmas light installation in La Jolla runs into the same three problems on almost every street. The rooflines are rarely simple. Half the homes are two stories on a slope. And the trim is usually something the owner does not want punctured.
So we cut every strand to your house. The crew measures the fascia, the gables, the palms, and the entry, then builds the run before install day. Clips only. Nothing gets stapled and nothing gets taped.

Two La Jolla Homes From Last Season
Both photos on this page are real La Jolla installs. The night shot is a warm-white package on a white two-story: every roofline traced, a sleigh and reindeer set on the ridge, garland and red bows on the front windows. The daytime shot is a Mediterranean home mid-install, with garland running the balconies and wire reindeer out on the lawn.
That is the honest spread. One clean roofline reads beautifully from the street. A full property, roof plus trees plus entry, is a different project and a different number. We will tell you which one your house actually wants.
Salt Air Is Why We Skip Store-Bought Strands
Windansea and La Jolla Shores homes sit in salt spray all winter. Consumer light strings corrode at the socket first, and then a third of the roofline goes dark the week before Christmas.
Every bulb we hang is commercial grade, with a weather-sealed socket and UV-stable wire. We own the lights, not you. When something fails it is our problem and our truck, not your Saturday. In-season repairs are included in the price.
Permanent Lighting and Event Nights
Some La Jolla clients get tired of the yearly cycle and switch to permanent lighting. A slim channel tucks under the fascia, color-matched to your trim, and you run it from an app. Warm white on a Tuesday, red and green in December, dark the rest of the year.
We also light weddings, graduations, and backyard parties around the Village and the Shores. Bistro strings, uplighting, and path lights, set before guests arrive and gone the next morning.
September Books Out Before October Does
Book a holiday install by September 30 and you save 15%. October drops to 10%. November and December usually sell out, and the two weeks right after Thanksgiving always go first.

- No. We pull everything down after the holidays, inspect each strand, label the set for your address, and store it off-site at no charge until next season. Nothing lives in your garage.
- Both. Wrapped palm trunks are one of the best-looking things you can do on a La Jolla street, and we handle olives, pepper trees, and hedges too. Mention it at the design consult and it goes into the plan.
